Who Am I?
I'm Nick Tangborn. I've spent 25+ years in digital media and technology—Listen.com/Rhapsody, BitTorrent, CNET, and smaller ventures that taught me more than the big names ever did.
For the past couple years, I've been building AI-powered systems across multiple industries: travel security and risk assessment for a consultancy serving executives and high-net-worth individuals; verification workflows for real estate professionals; and a streaming discovery platform that uses AI to do what algorithms can't—understand what humans actually want to watch.
For years, I was a product guy, a marketing guy and an operations guy.
I'm not a computer scientist. I'm a strategist who builds things. I understand how businesses actually operate, and I know how to make AI serve those operations instead of disrupting them.
